Construction of the new 132,000 volt (132 kV) zone substation in McKay Street, Bentley, south of the Curtin University Campus has been completed.
Eastern terminal switchyard
Western Power is proposing to construct a new terminal switchyard on a 20 hectare area of land in the Kalamunda, Gosnells and/or Mundaring area and is currently looking for a suitable site.
